On the long car rides to visit Uncle Garfunkel, the folks used to keep us kids amused by giving us clues to words that rhyme. "What's a cargo ship that's larger?" hollered dad from the front. "A greater freighter" we yelled back. The game got to be known as Uncle Garfunkel's Winning Twinnings. Dad seemed to have a maritime theme going.
Since I could never think of any clues to give in return, I used to wish I had a book of them so that I could get my own back and keep everyone else guessing. So here, only forty years too late for me, is the second of Uncle Garfunkel's Winning Twinnings Rhyme and Reason Quiz Books.
